Asking for repair options . My Lady P. has 2 cracks I spotted in removing the exhaust line . Can it be done on- car . Or does the casting have to come out ? One of the cracks is at the yoke or juncture of 2 to 3 cross member . I at this time have the Y - pipe section cut out for repairs so will possibly have to cut out another 12 inches .
Thanks Motorcarman , Looks like may biggest obstacle is to remove the aft intermediate exhaust silencer section because I can't get a driveshaft shoring cradle with it in the way . Exhaust clamp seizures and cut and splice limitations . So I may have to hope for the best to get past Missouri inspection and have it welded in place on car at a later date ( if that is possible ). Probable my best option in my driveway . Luckily it is not completely broke ( yet ) .
Thanks , been looking for a cuplier like that for the past week . The standard has the round threaded U bar that takes to much space . Used a cut off wheel to get the y pipe off earlier and the pipe chain cutter you suggested may be a solution aft of the intermediate silencer section .
