Default Turn Signal Reflectors

I have to change some burnt on bulbs on my turn signals both in the front. Do I get to those from the back of the bumper or as in some cars the reflector can be removed using a small putty knife.

Thanks

I dont imagine there is any huge difference in US spec but here in Europe (Ireland) the indicator units can indeed be easily popped out using a small putty knife or similar. Some have used a strong feeler gague, once it fits easily between the indicator / turn unit and the recess it sits into. Insert the blade into the upright end gap, nearest the centre of the car, not the outer side. This should push the plastic "tang" in, releasing it and the entire unit, with bulb, will swing out at that end, then just unhook it at the outer end, if that makes sense. Refitting is a reversal, inserting the outer side first until it engages, then snap the opposite end home. Easy to do once you're actually doing it!

Hope this helps and happy motoring.
