1997 XJR how much vacuum should the gas tank have in it. I was removing the gas guage sensor today from the back of the tank and after removing the lock nut I ender up having to removed the filling cap to relief the vacuum... Is this normal on these cars?

I own a Grand Cherokee amd a my wife drives a Concord neither one of these has any vacuum in the tank..
