Default Vacuum Hose Help?!?

I'm re-assembling the 1996 VDP from the water rail gasket renewal. I've hit a snag. Although I took pics as I was dis-assembling it...I wasn't overly **** about it becauste I have two more, a 1996 VDP and a 1995 VDP to consult to determine what goes where.

Firstly, I have no recollection of dislodging this vacuum hose during disassembly. And I would have disconnected it here at the manifold rather than in some dark, unreachable crevice. However, what I did to get to the water rail was remove the intake and roll it up and inboard, suspended upside down above the cam-cover by a ratchet strap. So I s'pose I could've pulled the other end of it loose and not noticed.

Here is where it is connected on the 95:

And on the other 96:

But this car is not like those...see?

The only appreciable difference is the one I have apart has traction control but neither of the other two are so-equipped.
I suppose if I can't find where to connect it by the time I have the job wrapped up, I can always plug it, and then see what doesn't work anymore...

Well my car is the same as your other two so I can't give something specific.

The hose is a vac feed to the carbon canister at the rear of the car which is part of the evap system. I can only suggest you follow the pipes from the canister forward and see where they go. Perhaps you'll find a slot for it.

There should be a small hard tube going from cannister valve at rear of car, basically under the driver side rear passenger seat to the front along the firewall area.

Default RESOLVED!

It is right there where the other two cars had it, but really can't be seen from up top... at least not with the intake back in place! I found it by feel. It is tucked in between the two tube-junctions that the other cars only have one of. I'll post a picture tomorrow.

If you blow it up, look closely, and know where to look, you can actually pick it out in the picture I posted in the OP.
