I'm replacing the valve body on the transmission; hopefully this will fix the problems I am having with limp mode staying on.
There's a guy on ebay selling rebuilt valve bodies with 1 yr. warranty; I contacted him because the ad is for 2002+ XJ6s, he assured me that the valve body will be compatible with my 97 XJ6
does anyone know if this is true?

Also how long should I expect a transmission shop to take when installing the valve body?
praying that my entire trans wont need to be rebuilt

The valve body is for the JATCO gearbox on the X-Type and you have a ZF4HP24 so I don't see any connection between them!!

The company might have the correct part but THAT IS NOT IT!!!!!!!!!!

Jaguar part number is JLM12349 for the ZF4HP24 control valve (valve body)

Anyone know a good place to buy a rebuilt valve body? The guy on ebay selling them has a low feedback score and might try to sell me the wrong one just to get rid of the type he has.(x-type valve body)
