Hello All,

I have a set "5" of the original VDP wire wheels, i have seen them going for some cash on Ebay. Just wondering what one could fetch for a Set in good condition as i thinking about selling mine?

Also i heard you can clean these with Muriatic acid? any one ever heard that? their not really that dirty but i heard the acid will really bring out the shine..Thanks

 

Well, Ebay is a good an indicator as any as to their market value.

No Jaguar since the E-type has left the factory with wire wheels so they are an aftermarket wheel...but a lot of people like 'em so they should sell easily, I'd think.

Not sure about muriatic acid but there are lots of wire wire cleaners out there.

Nope. Sorry.

Most everyone with wires thinks they are factory installed but they're not. Dayton is the most common brand seen on Jags.
