I had the windshield replaced on my 1995 XJ6. All was fine for a while. Then I had a no start episode. After much examination it was found that the new windshield was not sealed properly in the area (guess where) directly over the main engine computer in the front passenger side footwell. After replacing the windshield once again the problem was no more.

Thank you for sharing that, I know someone who needs a new windshield in his X300! We will watch out for that problem when it gets done.
