VIN Location X300 1996

May someone help me with the VIN location on the XJ6 4.0 lwb Soveriegn X300 (1996)?

located on a placard in the driver side door jam.
Also the bottom corner of the windshield in front of the driver looking at the windshield from the outside. There are stickers under the hood on each fender with the vin, on mine at least. It's a 17 digit mix of numbers and letters.

I believe the stickers are USA market only.

Right.

Since 1987 the NHTSA requires engine, transmission, and all easily removable body panels to carry the VIN as a theft deterrent. On body panels this is typically in the form of a tamper-proof sticker.
