Default Water pump

Hey,
My water pump starting leaking badly. Any suggestion from where I should order one? They're on eBay for 450€+, sourced one from UK for 240€ inculding shipping, and there are a few for about 100-150$ from US, but none of the suppliers have replied to my messages (I have no idea if they'd be willing to ship outside US).

I bought mine here (rebuilt)...

WATER PUMP :: WATER PUMP :: COOLING SYSTEM :: 1997 :: XJ6...

Not sure if they will ship international. Good company to work with as the first one I received sat on a shelf in my garage for almost a year while I stockpiled parts for my "20 year service". When I went to put it on the impeller had not been pressed down far enough on the shaft and it hit the back of the engine side housing. They exchanged it no problem. The replacement one fit perfect and has been working fine.

Try rockauto.com. I know they ship to Australia so I imagine wherever you are is possible.

It would help if you included your location in your posts.

They have 2 models listed, one for 40€ and other for 200€+. Really not sure what's the difference here... they DO look slightly different though, but it seems like they'd both fit.

PS:
I checked, they do ship to EU.

I had the same problem once.

This is a good reminder to others to carefully compare new versus old, side by side, before actually installing the pump

Cheers

It would be a good idea to check with SNG Barratt also, a forum sponsor.
