On that Jag - Lovers website

Researching as I think they have the V - 8 and inline 6 models mixed ( V - 8 had the electrical system redesigned and uses a very different engine management fuse box )

The V - 8 uses the engine management computer to give coolant temp commands to the radiator fan relay module

" The fans are supplied via the engine management fuse box, fuse 14
(10 amp)out of 18. This feeds the radiator fans controll module
located behind the left hand side of the bumper.________________"

See page 103 for 2000 year V - 8

X300 00/E COVER (jagrepair.com)

Point 60 E is fuse # 14 different engine management fuse box

Hi all just to wrap up this thread. The cooling fans are now working as they should. It was a bad relay that was causing all the trouble.
the thermostat was changed to a different brand and now the water temperature warms nice and fast and the gauge needle now sits on the normal mark on the gauge. I have hot air with in minutes when the AC is off but I still have an issue that the second I select AC on even when the temperature is set to max the air will at best only come out Luke warn but turn the AC off and the temperature increase to very hot.
