Wonder what happened to yours. Such rubber seems durable and never wears out. It is no longer available new; better luck finding used ones, from other X300 and XJS which shares the same parts number CCC6762. There is one on eBay but it comes complete with the accelerator housing.

Here is a eBay listing for a new accelerator pedal cover for the X40, XJS etc. Seller believes it should also fit X300, but is unsure.

I found it at normanmotorsltd where Lady Penelope told me.
But they won't send me just that one, the item cost is too low.

My '95 ("Greenie") just arrived from Ebay, missing hers as well .. Any update on a source for these? I also notice that if I have to buy the whole pedal, apparently this MY is metal, with Jaguar switching to a plastic verson sometime after that w. the X-300s .. ?

Hmmm. I'm wondering then if there was a defect in the '95 MY acc. pedal pads. ? I have seen the only available alternative, which appear to be aftermarket "pads" made of metal. I think that is what the PO put on mine, but have not been able to get down there close enough to take a good look at it yet. Problem I'm having is that this metal pad apparently makes the two pedals a little too close to each other to safely operate with my oversized feet. In fact, the first time I drove the car I almost got in a major accident with it b/c of the pedal issue (I hit both pedals at the same time, causing the engine to suddenly max out in RPMs ). The pedals are apparently too close to each other to begin with, at least compared to the XJS pedals. I guess my only option would be to take the metal pad off and just go with the bare pedal, at least for now.

with or without a pad would really only matter if the brake pedal is actually larger than normal.
these are the aftermarket metal ones i have on my car and for me they are just fine.

Interesting. I'm wondering if there is a difference in size (width) with the older metal acc, pedals vs. the later plastic ones, for the X-300s. The plastic ones look like they might be narrower, and kind of go off further to the (right) side than the metal ones, but then photographs can be deceptive. Anyone know for sure? If there is a difference, I wonder if I can get the plastic version to work on my MY?
