Is there a source for rear mufflers for a '91 XJ 6? The few places I found wanted a king's ransom for a bloody muffler! I don't care if it's aftermarket but sources are scarce. Where do you guys get yours?

What price were you expecting?
For the heck of it I did some quick Googling and got lots of hits from about $40-$120 depending on brand, front/rear muffler, etc. That's sounds about right to me.
A muffler shop can probably fix you up with some sort of generic "economy replacement" muffler if you're tight on money at the moment, as many of us are.

Well I'm getting prices of $300+ each. I figured maybe $100- or so each, but 300? Wow. I asked the guy at Midas and he was clueless. His books had no aftermarket muffler.
Wow! nice find! Thats more like it. Many thanks. Interesting that it says 1990 through 1996. The X300s were made between '95 and '97. Hope it fits.
