Hey Trinity don't do it!!!

I will be updating the FAQ later today, I hope, with parts catalogues which might be of interest to you.

If you can't wait, just drop me a PM with your email address and I'll send it on to you directly. About 5mb one file.

You don't need to rely on the disks autorun script, and you don't have to install anything (as long as you have Adobe Reader - get the latest version from their site)

Just locate the folder that contains the actual .pdf documents and open them individually. That way it doesn't matter what operating system you are running.

EDIT: The folder is called 'Content' on my disk.

FWIW, none of my JDHT CDs will run or even load on Vista, and I'm not alone. Last time I looked the JDHT webpage disclosed that the CDs were not Vista compatible. There's a problem with the "Hexalock encryption" ....or something like that.

Others, though, seem to be able to work around the problem.

Cheers

Does anyone know why JDHT have included the second and first edition of both 'ZF' and 'Powertrain' tranny manuals? Wouldn't the first editions be obsolete? (second edition will be a cumulative update building on the first)

If I go to print the manuals, I should only bother printing the second edition, right?

EDIT: The same applies to the engine and general vehicle service manuals... Why have they included two editions of each?

The parts catalogue, on the other hand, is the original file with a bunch of incremental updates (small extra files).

Does no-one read the FAQ? Try the second-to-last link.

EDIT: Sorry, I didn't see your post in the other thread.
