Default X300 Valve Covers

Hi All,
I have an opportunity to make custom valve covers for the X300 and XJS. I'm working an improved design to lessen the sparking and black dust problem. If I can get enough of you all interested we can cover the costs of tooling to begin a run of them.
Since there are no more available this may soon be the only option.
If you're interested please message me directly
Steve

You’ll want to post this on the XJS Forum as well...

Most of these cars need them and I could see many members buying! I'd sure like to see your idea developed. Keep us updated. One request: to keep JAGUAR on the cover somehow. Maybe the existing panel covering the coils can be used on your new design.

They will look in all aspects just like the original. The dust cover will swap over from the existing valve cover. They will be made from aluminum.
I'm hoping to make a run of 20 this winter.

Good luck with your endeavour. It is always good to see people taking the initiative to keep these cars on the road, when Jaguar themselves have given up offering the parts. You may be able to interest Jaguar specialists like SNG Barratt and David Manners in the UK in stocking your parts.
