Love the Penta wheels so much that I bought a set of five from the UK.

Was planning to put the Penta (18") on my X350 but Penta PCD is 120.7 whereas X350 is 108. It is possible to use adaptive spacer to enable X350 to ride on the Penta but to avoid costs of custom-making them locally, the work trying them on, and the trouble with the annual inspection (spacers are not allowed), I have decided to put them on Rose instead. The XJR wheels can be temporarily stored away pending refurbishment some days later.

Rose originally had XJR wheels with 245/45/17 tires (factory recommendation is 255/45/17).

In keeping the original ride height, am using 245/40/18 on the Penta.

I recently rebuilt the brakes and the EBC Redstuff pads look good on those wheels.

Hi Marcus,
is that Rose Bronze Metallic the original colour. I've never seen an X300 in that colour before.

Yes, Andy; Rose Bronze Metallic is original colour. I did a colour-code search, and found two codes:
JBC 795 SDL (finish colour)
JUC Mid-Beige (prime colour)

Rose Bronze was once a favorite colour for precious metals in the jewellery world, and was well sought after by the ladies.

I too have never seen another Jaguar or any other cars in Rose Bronze in Hong Kong. It is Jaguar's very unique colour, like Turquoise which is XJR6's signature colour in 1995.

Rose still has the original paint inside-out. She has a few dents here and there, but I hope to keep the paint original as far as possible.

The local dealer brought in a new car in that colour in 1995. I think it sat on the lot for a year before selling. I've only ever seen the one car in that colour.

That's a nice and unique color. I like the colors that stand out from the crowd.

I have a turquoise 95 XJR and thought that it was pretty unique, but I think this car has it beat in that regard!

Many thanks. Both Turquoise and Rose Bronze are 1995 colours. Turquoise clearly stands out among others and suits the XJR very well; Rose Bronze is only unique but low key. It may not appeal to most people. No wonder the one Jagboi64 mentioned stood in the dealer's lot for a year before being sold.
