Hello everyone, does anyone know where I can get a clock spring cassette reel for a 1996 XJ6. I can get it at a good price used for cheap, but the guy at the Jaguar shop told me I should go brand new, please let me know, thank you everyone!

I have a used clockspring to fit your car. The problem is that I acquired it with a large number of parts already removed from a wrecked car, so I can't verify its condition. Send me a private message if you are interested, and I'll look into testing it. The pricing willbe right, I just have to insure that thequalitywill be satisfactory too.

 

I have a good used clockspring, no problem. These units do fail from time to time, so the choice is up to you as far as installing a used one. The price for a new one is approx. $300.00, I can send you a guaranteed used item for 1/3rd of that.

 

so were talking about 100 used plus about another 100 labor thats about 200, compared to brand new $400.00 labor, but I dont even know if I want to do lol. Let me see if I can maybe find a new one for a little cheaper if not I will let you know, I also wanted to ask you, if you knew if I could find a Driver seat in coffee color, thanks.
