When I am driving and hit a bump, pothole, etc, I feel it through my steering wheel. Does anyone know what may be the cause of this?

 

could be play in ball joints and or wishbones mate. i have the rear wishbones to do on mine as when you floor it it likes to follow the ruts in the rd or when changin lanes on the motorway and you cross the wagons ruts in the surface you can feel it.
jack the car up and feel for play in the wheels, get you hans at 12 and 6 and 3 and 9.
