Default 01 XJ8 BCM? No main headlights, ABS Light, TRAC and ASC Not available

From what I've read, most signs point to replace the BCM. Wondering if I could others opinions on this. The CE light is on with the ABS (sorry don't have codes) the ASC and TRAC are not available. I haven't tried cleaning the abs sensors yet. Any input would be great. Thanks

Have you checked the fuses?

What is the battery voltage/condition?

Pull the codes, it makes things a hell of a lot easier/cheaper to diagnose!

Default Checked fuses and relays

I've checked all fuses, tried different relays, battery is new, voltage good. I'm working on getting the codes for the CE light. I'll know more soon.

Default Bcm

The main ecu is made by Denso and they are very reliable. they are also very complicated and difficult to repair. i only found one place that would repair them in the US.
i'd be more inclined to think it is a wring fault but without a code reader its impossible to tell. having said that i have a car here where the motherboard delaminated and when it got hot it switched the fans off.

i have a spare good tested ecu for a xkr, would need the vcats no to see if it will work. it would also need re configuring using the dealer software. Unless you are very confident that is a job for a specialist.

check the battery isn't weak, that can give all sorts of rogue symptoms.

I have headlights now. Scanner shows an abs fail code. 11370 I think it was. I was able to take the rear wheel sensors off and clean them, but the front ones don't come off as easily so I couldn't clean the front. I was thinking now that it is more of the abs module solder point that I've read about. Thoughts....?

The fault codes are C1095 / C1233 / C1234 / C1235 / C1236.....the 1095 id's the pump connectors for certain, the C by the way is chassis and I'd like to know which scanner you used to pull chassis codes?

If cleaning the wheels speed sensors doesn't clear it up then the abs module pump connections will need re-soldering. Literally hundreds of posts on this and a relatively simple operation to fix it.

One thing to note on the sensors, they don't post until the car is rolling, if the light is on with startup, it'll be the module.

Hope this helps.
