03 XJR rear view mirror wobbles

depends on the problem -- many times it's the plastic case failing. The mirror and third brake light must be the same stuff -- it degrades and cracks. There is a metal ring that grips the plastic around the ball -- see if this is still tight. If not that's the problem.

The ball and socket part is broke. Epoxy was used to stop it from moving. Better than thaving to buy he new $400 mirror.
