Default 03 xjr: Where is the ecu located?
I am in the process of having my ECU recalibrated by Eurotek Designs. Can anyone tell me where the ECU is located in the XJR.

I have a 2001 XJ8. My ECU is located under the hood, passenger side next to the firewall. Remove the cover for the right hand (passenger side) hood latch. Under it you should see a cover held on by 4 torx screws. Remove this cover and lift out your ECU. CharcoalJag

Be sure to disconnect the battery before removing the ECM connector. You don't want to let the smoke out.
