I just put on my summer wheel/tire combination on my 98 xj8. I purchased the car with the extra wheels included. The wheels are the 10 spoke 16"x 7" aluminum kind, now the problem after the summer wheels were on for about 2 weeks one centre cap fell off. After looking for the needle in a haystack I now realize that it is gone forever.....
I cannot find the correct colour replacement cap mnc6240 AA/BB? The colour i am after is black/ not the silver that i am finding. Do you suppose someone may have painted these caps? If so you cannot tell as the paint has no flaws in them.
Did they use this colour cap in later years?
