Having trouble getting new upper wishbone bushings in. Does anyone have some pictures for a install? are they suppose to just press in? Thanks Vinman.

 

This is from the X308 Workshop Manual. There's a couple links around here to download it from another source. The file is to large to post here.
I left the side bar on the 1st one for search reference after you download it. But these alone may help you if that's all you need.

 

Hi Vinman,

The upper control arm bushings, Parts 2 in the diagram below, just press in to the outer ends of the control arm bores. Before you try, be sure to clean any rust or grime from the bores. A good trick is to put the bushings in the freezer for 30 minutes before you install them to slightly shrink their diameter. Another trick is to use a little soapy water as a lubricant.

A C-clamp or bench vise and a suitably-sized socket can be used as a press if necessary. It is not advisable to try to tap the bushings in with a hammer due to the risk of damaging the rubber-to-metal bond.
