1999 xk8 engine swap
1999 xk8 with a bad engine, anyone thought about swapping it with a chrysler hemi? they both use the same transmission (sort of) just wanted to know if this may be done.

Well, IMHO, it would be better than the LS one's that have been posted...I'm not a Chevy fan. Even though I have a Corvette in my garage...hopefully I'll have it gone soon enough.
I've always figured if the engine went south on mine, I'd put a coyote motor in. I've kind of looked in to it already, the oil pan setup would have to be modified and if I recall, I think shallower valve covers would be needed. Just some things to think of.
