Default 2 Questions: Garage Door and touch up paint?

1) Anyone had any trouble with the garage door opener. It blinks like it should but does not seem to work. Its says the outer buttons reset it, do they mean 1 & 4 or 3 & 4. Anyone struggle with this let me know please.

2) where can I get touch up paint for little stone chips on the bumper?

Thanks

your garage door opener may having a rolling code feature. if this is the case, you need to first program the overhead remote, then there will be a learn button on the opener, press it. the opener should start blinking, then press the programmed button on the overhead unit, should work then

Call Homelink @ 1-800-355-3515.
They helped me get my XJR programmed. Unlike the
XJ Sport it was not working the first time. But I got it
over the phone with them.

+1 on Automotive Touchup. I have their paint and it
seems to be very high quality.

I had to push the "learn" button on my door opener (not the clicky, the actual opener) and press one of the buttons on the car (within like 20-30 seconds) until it learned. I just did this with 2 cars, worked both times.

@Robert, I totally forgot what was involved, other than that
after following the woman on the phone's instructions I ended
up only being able to use the 3&4 buttons for programming,
the first 2 wouldn't erase the memory.

On my 2001 the 1 and 4 buttons clear the memory. I found my Owner's Manual Addendum and IT SHOWS the proper way to program. The original manual is wrong/incomplete.
