Probably as much as Jaguar suggest along with the correct grade for your location?
Probably 0W30 or 5w40 or as Castrol suggest 0w40 :- and up to the top of the hatch mark on the dip stick.

I find that the capacity of my 2001 VDP is just over 7 quarts, I fill with 7 quarts and then check and add carefully until the dipstick shows full.
I use Castrol GTX 10-40, I have read that the slightly higher viscosity is advantageous regarding pressure lubrication of the timing chain tensioners.
