My best time is 12.97, sometimes above 13, sometimes, 12.99 ,13.00
Am, not on the forum to show off, dear Idorace, and am not interested to post on internet my achievements.I wish you also achieve in your life what i have achieved in personal and driving life. You know, some people like to keep low profile, some others like you, tendto be like firecrackers, too much noise, and when you look closely is nothing there.
Happy now?
No.You simply have not the personality to get it.

If your best time is a 12.97, your car weighs 440 lbs. less and makes 30 more hp than MBxjr01's car, how do you expect his car to run under 13 seconds? Your car should be deep into the 12's according to your calculations. Did you see all of the mods. Matt Moran had to do to get into the mid 12's? It is so obvious that you have no idea what you are talking about and have never had your car to a drag strip.

Keep insulting everybody’s intelligence, it is very entertaining.

Dear Idorace, you just admit above, that i could be able to run in the 12's, so what is your problem?
You can"t, because you are less power and more weight.
Lastly, i don"t need to prove anything, to anyone, specially to you, and you know why.Am not on the Forum for self portrait, like some gyes of your style.
In the meantime, take care.

By the time you posted your time, i diden't know that USA XJR's are 3-400 pounds heavier, than mine.Thats why i told you , it should have been lower.Sorry.
But in any case. just if you like follow next time my advices, and tell me.
I am not doing it as my life purpose, or try to go lower and lower. But couple of times ,i just tried it, when it happened to be in the Autodrome in Dubai.
Chapman's philosophy...less weight if you want to have great performance..
Good luck

Let me give you some advices how to prepare for a 1/4 mile.

Put only few litres of petrol, a full tank means another passenger sitting in the car.
Put 38 tire pressure, not the normal 35.
Swich off radio or AC
Swing the mirrors inside, for better aerodynamic.
Switch off the traction control, (it will light in the middle console, when switched off)
Make a strong kick down, and never letr your foot off.
Ofcaurse all on sport mode, so gears change later.
Am sure you will do under 13. Good luck.
Costas:

You say your car weighs 300-400 lbs. less and makes 30 hp more than MBxjr01's. Your quote above says "Am sure you will do under 13". If that is the case, your car must be very sick. Puuuuuuuuuu. Fix your car.

And there the guy from...uh what was it Moran motorsports running a 12.68 with his XJR with some tweeks...The forum is SUPPOSED to be about help, shared knowledge and stories..not seeing whos got a bigger...uhmm belt buckle
