Living in VA, it rained all day yesterday and the wipers worked fine. This morning I started the car and heard some clicking noise in the front of the car near the belt/radiator area, then it stopped after a minute. After that I had no wipers at all. Any ideas?

 

I don't think the serpentine belt connects to anything related to the operation of
the wiper, except the alternator.

Unless you have a general power failure you didn't notice, I don't think that sound was from the forward belt. Maybe it was the wiper actuator breaking.

Sorry, I don't really know. Hopefully the experts start paying attention to this thread!

Maybe your relays, which are.located around the radiator?

 

Swap the wiper relays round, and give them a squirt of electrical cleaner when you do, this is a wide known fix for this problem. And as usual check the related ruses.

 

It was the relays!!!!! swapped them around and it worked like a charm!!! I went ahead and replaced them both just to be safe. Thanks!!!!
