3 grand, if it's really as-is blind with no info on drivetrain or electrics state and no way to inspect said parts. Maybe 4 if you wanna take a risk and you really like the color combo, and the body is in excellent condition.
Also keep in mind if it's sat for so long, all the rubber and foam suspension and subframe bushing bits could crumble and need replaced as soon as it gets driven around enough. And some of those are getting very tricky to find...

Offered 3 but seller wants 4500 I think I will stick with my xj8 however the paint combo was great

I might consider an offer to the guy if there is no rust.

FYI. the XJR 100 parts alone ( if in descent condtion) already worth more than 3 grands. I would buy a not running XJR100 for 3K just for the parts .

I am certain that an individual dedicated to, and having the proper space,
could accumulate 3K for the parts. I am also certain that my ambition would
be to restore and drive that Jaguar, as long as it was not rusty.

Agreed. You can see the 2001 XJR with a salvage title I bought for my LS swap in my threads. Paid $4000. Used the interior and Asteroids with low mileage Pirellis on the swap. Sold engine for $2700 and other parts for another $3000. Still selling parts off it on eBay. Last week sold the shifter for $375 and driver side window switch for $60. Those 100 rims if in good shape go for $$$$.
More importantly a 100 should be saved if possible. 100s go for at least double a regular XJR. Lot of room for $ to fix mechanicals if body good.
Above is why I asked for location and pics.

Unless you can get the story on why it was parked for 3 years I would assume the worst!
There is a reason why it has not moved in such a long time.

The way the seller was talking he simply said it's just parked since 3 or 4 years and it just need a battery and tire and it will work as it should ! The suspension was obvious gone
Btw the car sold

Hmm, I'd say risky if something was wrong (undisclosed engine/trans failure) at 4500, but potentially a great deal if not. I see it sold.

Ehem.....
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2002-jaguar-xjr-16/

100's are worth a lot more than vanilla R's, and only going up in value. Fact.
