My driver's side door wouldn't open/unlock from the inside or outside. I ended buying a used latch assembly and replacing it myself. Now, the door still won't open using the inside door handle AND, when I pull on the driver's side door handle, it locks all of the other doors, but still doesn't open the driver's door.
Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

 

The actuating cable is broken where it enters the latch. It is a common failure. A search of the forum will turn up quite a few post with info on how to repair.

I checked the actuating cable (from the door handle to the latch) and it appears to still be in tact as the end is still on. When I pull on the handle, I can hear the latch pulling, but it the door still won't open. When I would pull on it before, the doors would actually unlock. Now, the other doors lock when I try to open the driver's door from inside
