Default 2002 xjr limited edition

hello just bought a 2002 xjr has a badge on back says limited edition, I have currently a 99 and a 2002 xjr and the new one is different. has some body accents, changed bottom grill, chrome strip on rear bumper. Exhaust seems changed. Biggest difference is active suspension, may be other things just got it home last night in the dark. could anyone tell me what I've got?

tried to find out about this car just getting stuff about the xjr100 I know mine isn't one of these, it does have some added equipment and accents just wondering if if anyone knows about this
it has active suspension, a different bumper grill, a chrome accent on rear bumper, nav and larger exhaust (looks like different mufflers). thanks

Toss a few pictures up when you can. Could be anything from something unique, to just a bunch of visuals added by a dealer along the way to try to increase the perceived value.

Sounds a lot like this. Just a standard XJR but with a few personal touches added, rather than a special model from the factory

Default jaguar pictures

info about pictures, the first car is as 2002 XJR , the next 2 pics of engine apart is a 2002 XJR last one is a 1999 XJR that was totaled but still running but now just a parts car...
the first one has some add on badges and other stuff don't think it is factory but I guess looks OK. best thing about the gray car was the price 1,500.00 and towed it home. has great
interior just needs a little freshening up and whatnot.
I have question about the second car engine, just tore into it yesterday I thought the cam chain was problem but when pulled cover off looked ok just some cracks in the plastics. took the oil pan off found parts of a connecting rod.... #1 and #2 cyl's
pistons don't move, is it gonna be worth repairing the engine? will the 1999 parts work in this engine, does a xj8 connecting rod work ? gonna pull the heads today to see if anything else might have happened. I'm on a limited budget so gonna try doing
most of the work myself. thanks
