I'm in the process of pulling the engine out of my parts car 1998 Vanden Plas. I was originally going to keep it, but don't have the room. Does anyone know of a place that buys these cores? It has 140,000 miles on it and ran great for the hundred miles I drove it (Interior was pretty horrid and the paint was in bad shape). I think it might be less frustrating for me to sell it as a core instead of a used ready to go engine. I might be wrong there. I just don't want to deal with something going wrong that I didn't know about, or on the flip side, someone trying to take advantage of me. I called a place in houston, but they said they didn't accept cores from out of state.

Either way it's been nice that the weather's been warming up. I've been able to dig in and have some fun learning more about these cars.

 

You could advertise it on this forum in the Private for Sale Classifieds section. It wouldn't hurt anyway.
