I'm looking for timing chain tool set (with all five tools) to rent for job on my 98 xj8 vanden plas? I'm located in Scottsdale, AZ

I borrowed mine from the local Ford Dealer. If they have the tools for the Thunderbird get those. The T-bird used the same basic motor as ours but called it a 3.9L. If not, I ended up using the Cam Set Holder and Flywheel Stop out of the complete special tool set for the Explorer. I believe it was for the V6 but they worked perfectly. Another option is the Lincoln Mercury Dealer. The LS used the 3.9L also.

There was no charge so to say thanks I returned the set of tools with 2 dozen Panera Bagels and all the fixins.
