When I turn on my right turn signal the lights on the radio go out. So do all other lights with the exception of the speedometer, RPM and Fuel. They slightly dim.

Everything is fine with the left signal.

 

Probably a broken solder joint in the multifunction switch. Easier to replace than fix unless you are really good with a soldering iron. Search multifunction switch; airbag; removing steering wheel and you should grab most of the threads that will walk you through the job.

 

What about it being a short?

 

If the loosened wire is crossing other bare wires or solder points, maybe . . .. won't know until you take it apart, will you?
