Default air bags suspension

New on this forum. My girlfriend has a 2004 XJ8 and has been told the 'air bags' need to be replaced. I am not familiar with these cars (I have an '87 XJS) or 'air bags.'. Anything special I should know about this repair. Can I substitute other parts if the 'air bags' are very expensive? Is it a hard job? (I have access to a full shop and lift). Any particular brand I should look at or stay away from? Thanks

Correction: Air shocks, not air bags.

Get the Arnott conversion kit. Also this is the X308 section. Your looking for the X350 section.

If the rear on an X308 is sagging, it needs new foam donuts (spring isolators)
