I was looking for a wiring diagram for the Alpine stereo system for my 2001 XJR. I couldn't find anything searching through the forum "specific" to that model...only the HK unit. I was adding an Alpine DPR-RDS1 iPod/iPhone interface today and needed some "power" for it. I found something SARC had posted about a non Alpine unit...and I want to confirm it is the same on the Alpine unit I have too. I found the Jaguar electrical guide (PDF) for a 2001 (can't remember where) and it said the same thing. I just hate hacking into a harness blindly. Ha! So just in case someone is looking for power like I was...this is what it is...

BROWN/GREEN (x2) --> 12V constant
WHITE --> 12V Ignition live
BLACK --> Ground

It was on it's own "white" connector on the back of the radio.
Anyway...new guy here...found TONS of info here already. Thanks for all your help already :-)
