Thanks, Dutchy. I pried on it a little with a two-foot bar yesterday; I'll get out the big one today.

After pulling the oil filter (needed an oil change anyway) the big picture came into view and I had it out in about 15 minutes, including a good soaking with WD40 around the bushing.
