alternator problems i think
ok so my cars lights is dim i had my alternator and battery checked both two seperate times they are both checking out to be good .....my car will run for about 1 to 2 hours before the lights go dim again i dont have a clue as to what to do any help anybody ?........the car starts fine until the battery goes dead then all i hear is the relay click when i turn the key over

alternator problem
First, u need charge battery at least 30 minute or full charge, load test.
Second, you need let the car run for 1 or 2 hours with DVOM meter hook up direct to alternator, positive clip at ALTERNATOR B+, negative clip on ALTERNATOR CASE and watch, sometime alternaotr will fail when it get hot or run with a long time

thank you for your help i have done that with the battery but not the meter on the alternator...they just done like a 5 minutes test on it at the repair shop...im guessing a certified repair shop will have a dvom meter? and what exactly is that meter for just like a voltage meter?
