30 minutes to clay bar a Jag?
Maybe if it's clean to start with, but mine's been about 5 years since its last cut and polish, and it lives under a carport, so I'm expecting at least an hour by the time I get through all the layers of dirt.

You can do it in sections though. I have already done the glass, so maybe next time I will just do the bonnet roof and boot, followed by wax of course. Then next time I will go around the sides and bumpers.

The most important thing after using a clay bar is that you apply wax/polish afterwards. It's not the clay itself that makes the car shiny, or provides and protection, it's that you have a properly clean and smooth paint finish to apply your polish onto.

Yes I usually claybar about 3 times a year. I love the look after the claybar then a good wax job. Looks like a mirror. I too do the towel thing. After all is finished I take a micro fiber towel and toss across the hood. Love to see it slide all the way off onto the ground.

Mirror finish, extremely satisfying...........towel sliding off the hood......priceless!
