Default Anyone running Continental ContiTouring Tires?

I have a chance to get a set at a reasonable price and am wondering how they run on our cars. Good? Bad?

I had a set of Conti's (don't remember the model) on a Lincoln LS and hated them because they flat spotted after sitting overnight. The last thing I want it to get is another set like those.

I don't need or want max performance tires. I don't corner, race people off of lights, run over 80 on dry freeways and I slow down when it's raining. I don't need them to run in snow as I have a set of Nokians for that. The main thing I care about is that the tires are quiet.

Thanks, Ken

THEYRE ONLY ON ABOUT 90% OF THE XJ'S OUT THERE, AND I THINK THEYRE GOOD.
FLAT SPOTTING IS AN ISSUE WITH MANY TIRES OUT THERE ARE MORE PRONOUNCED WHEN RUNNING LOWER TIRE PRESSURE OR LETTING SIT TOO LONG. tHIS IS WHY ITS ALWAYS RECOMMENDED TO STORE CARS WITH TIRES OFF THE GROUND ON STANDS, AND JAGUAR SHIPS ALL NEW CARS WITH 60PSI IN THE TIRES SO THEY DONT FLAT SPOT AND WE DONT AIR DOWN TILL SOLD

Thanks Brutal. I'll go check out the tires today and report back.
