Most of the results will be for a LASER 5537 which is 3/4 inch drive.

The going price is 40 GBP. The trick is to find the one seller who ships at a
reasonable cost. There is one that charges 5 GBP, bringing the total to 45 GBP.

Be sure to contact the seller and ask for "ex-vat" pricing. Prices on ebay.co.uk
include VAT(value added tax) of 20 percent. That is significant. You have to
do this using the "ask seller a question" link before purchasing. They will
ask you to pay direct through paypal instead of completing the purchase
using the ebay page because it needs special pricing.

With the socket in hand, you are then able to do the bearings yourself
or bring the tool to any garage that has experience installing wheel bearings
on a fwd vehicle or a vehicle with rear independent suspension. In other words,
most garages.

It still won't be an easy job, but at least you have the right tool for it.

the seller was toolboxkinguk and the total with shipping was 43 GBP.

 

Socket from SEARS worked for me, $25 or so (learned about socket on this forum, don't remember the exact size).
