So, I'm driving around town doing some shopping and I started my car and get the "Battery Not Charging" message and the battery light came on. I had my scanner with me so I plugged it in and the voltage kept on dropping slowly as I was driving home.

I suspect the alternator as I know it looked old when I was doing the motor work a while back, but I figured I'll ask if there is any other common issues that could cause that. I know it's a PITA to take the alternator out.
