Default Big Coolant Leak

While driving home tonight, the LOW COOLANT light came on. When I got home, I noticed coolant pouring out from underneath the rear of the engine. After some searching the threads here, It appears it might be the aux coolant pump. I won't know more until I bring it in to the shop. But as a heads up, can anyone give me a ballpark estimate on how much this repair might be?

Thanks
Bill

No idea until you actually locate the leak. It could be as simple as a loose hose clamp or as complex as you stated.

That pump probably wont be the faulty part... More so the octopus hose or the pipes from the thermostathousing or the housing itself (if non supercharged).

The shop found several problems. The coolant leak was caused by the original "bundle of hoses" assembly. While checking it out, he discovered the two hoses going into the valley under the intake manifold were about to go and suggested I replace them. So I did. Total repair costs $1435.
