bolt pattern?

RE: bolt pattern?
I see no one has tried to answer your question …so I will try…5 on 120.65 is metric for 5 bolts on a 4 and ¾ inch bolt circle …this was for many years a GM and Jaguar bolt pattern …how ever the Jag has a larger Center Bore diameter ….the hole in the center of the wheel the hub and axel fits through …5 on 120 is a metric bolt pattern ….true the difference between 120.65 and 120.0 is only .65mm or a fraction over 1/16 inch an less than 3/32 if it fit over the bolts it would put a bending stress on the lug bolts causing them to break under high loads such as impact with a pot hole or obstacle…secondly the metric 5 on 120.0 is usually a smaller 7/16 or metric lug bolt as apposed to the ½ inch 5 on 4 ¾

I really like some of the new Vette wheels on the C6 and I have thought about buying some used. Do you think there is any saftey issue in this?

RE: bolt pattern?
I will answer that with what I have done ….your results may very and you and you alone are responsible for any actions you make take and the consequences they may cause …I have taken wheels to a machine shop had them open up the bolt holes larger and drilled off center to match 4 3/4 bolt pattern …Drill out the center bore to match Jag bore ….that being said there lots of wheels that have come on the market lately that fit without all this machine work …they have a close +15 +25 +35 mm positive offset and large bore …. the XJ has around a +30 mm positive offset ….. with the smaller offset (+15 +25) you can get a larger wider tire under rear fenders

Im looking at two sets of wheels to buy, one store says my 2000 xjr is 5x108 with hubcentric rings, the Coventry wheels store says it's 5x120, same answers online, I need to be sure before I buy.
One store said 5x120 is for 96-09 XK Series.
Anyone know the proper offset on Aftermarket wheels?
Thanx for any input!
