My car has been possessed by a poltergeist, with lights, locks and stuff locking and unlocking, turning on and off by itself and now my remotes don't work, can open the trunk or lock the doors or even open the fuel door. With the help from this forum I suspect the Security Locking Module for all this, but now the "Boot open" light on the dash is on.

Is it maybe the same issue (SLCM) or has the boot open switch stopped working at the same time. Coincidence?

Where is the Boot open switch and can I check to see if it is good, or do I just replace it?

I am fairly sure the switch you are looking for is in the boot lock assembly. I would check the wiring harness that is along side the right side trunk hinge, They are known for fraying (look closely) and could cause at least some of your symptoms.
