Default Boot open warning

I searched all the thread and it tells me that I should have two wires usnderneath the the receiver the female part of the Lock.

I've unscrewed both receivers and apart from the cable to the bonnet /hood release there are no electric wires or micro switches on either.

I'm sure this is all connected to my my alarm sounding off in another thread please can someone elaborate on where the two wires I need to short out

thanks in advance Stephen

Is it "boot open" warning or "bonnet open" warning?

From your writing, seems it is the bonnet. The switch is near the right hinge of the bonnet.

Position:

The switch:

You unplug the wires connected to the switch (from underneath), not shorten.
