Brake Pads for '02 XJ8
Greetings,
Looking to buy new front pads for my '02 XJ8. I've been using Akebono, but I had 2 sets break after only 30k (pad lining broke apart from the backplate), so I am not shelling out $$$ for those again. I'd like to stay with ceramics - they've been quiet and clean. I am only finding EBC, Akebono and Hawk HPS. Several other common vendors (e.g. Wagner) don't list ceramic pads for the '02 XJ8 base. They do list pads for a Vanden Plas with same engine - I would've thought it was the same car mechanically? Can anyone speak authoritatively on whether pads listed for the Vanden Plas would fit an XJ8 base? Any other suggestions?
