Do you have fuel pressure at the schrader valve on the fuel rail? Knowing the year and number of miles may help.

A TB fault should always post a fault - I had a no start recently, signal to fuel pumps good, spun over, no fuel pressure - thought pumps but it turned out to be the engine coolant temp sensor. This doesn't give a code so look at this part before the TB.

Dumb question but did you check the fuel filter to make sure it's not plugged up? Usually if you're able to cruise at low speed/low fuel consumption you can get by until it's fully clogged, then no fuel to start afterward.
