attention forum: how do I change camshaft position sensors on 2000 xj8? Can I get some jag love out there please!

I personally have never seen a failed CMPS. I doubt BOTH have failed but stranger things have happened.
Why do you want to replace them??????????????????????

I have DTCs for BOTH CMPS over advanced/retarded. What might cause this. The engine still runs fine or the engine runs rough at idle etc.

The sensors are located at the rear of each cylinder head. The left ('B'bank) is partly blocked by the fuel line.
