Default Cannot Find Throttle Body Coolant Hose Replacement

My father's 1998 XJ8 has developed a slow coolant leak at the 3 way plastic connector under the expansion tank where the hose under the manifold meets the octopus hose behind the engine. There is a small hose that comes up from the plastic connector into the throttle body that has worn out. Does anyone know where to find a direct replacement or the proper diameter of hose stock to buy if I have to cut to length? I have looked through dealer parts catalogs, etc and cannot find a replacement. Thank you!

Try the link above. Part number I believe is NNE3946CA.

Thank you but this seems to be one of the two hoses that run under the intake manifold. I need the smaller diameter hose that goes straight up into the throttle body at the rear of the engine where this hose terminates. It looks like 1/2" Goodyear hose cut to length should do the trick, thanks again!

There are two different shapes of this hose so you have to first look at your VIN. The part numbers are:

Up to VIN 853935 - NCA3976AD

From VIN 853936 - NNE3976CA

However, the above change point does not apply to SC engines for which the change was much later, with the change AJ26 to AJ27 (I believe).
