just wanted to say thanks to those that helped me on my other issues, the seat adjustment, knock sensor and the air mass code (loose connection)..

I am hoping this will be as simple.

we have an 03 xj8.. two days ago the rear passenger door would not unlock, manually or with the remote.

the key will not unlock it, the button in the car would not work, and it will not unlock when you pull up on the lock....

I appreciate all the help..

oh, i did a search and only came up with them not locking not staying locked

the other locking thred i posted in is a little different than mine..

you cannot pull the lock up by hand.. we cannot get the door to open... any ideas.

Can i get the door panel off without opening it?
